Our students are incredible. They are high school students who begin taking college classes in the summer before 10th grade. Many begin balancing a fulltime college course load and their remaining high school classes in 11th grade - by 12th grade HLA students spend most of their time at the college.

Each semester looks different, but below are our GPA and Credit Accumulation numbers from the Fall 2018 semester.

As my very wise mentor once said in a planning meeting, “Numbers often tell a story.” Our numbers tell a story of triumph, perseverance, and accomplishment.

Class Section Enrollments: 463

GPA Breakdown:

3.5-4.0 – 50 students (36%)

3.0—3.5 – 54 students (39%)

2.5-3.0 – 23 students (17%)

2.0-2.5 – 8 students (5.8%)

<2.0 – 3 students (.2%)

Credit Accumulation:

0-9 credits – 24 students (17%)

10-15 credits – 21 students (15%)

15-30 credits – 29 students (21%)

30-45 credits – 24 students (10%)

45 -66 credits – 40 students (29%)
