Junior Game Jam | Get Game Framed! - Hostos Early College Initiative

Hostos Lincoln Academy Middle 8th graders spent their Tuesdays and Thursdays for the last month at the college working with game designers (current professors at Hostos) to play math games, learn basic game mechanics and ultimately design their games! We had a great time and are trying to figure out ways to keep the Game Jam energy going through the rest of the school year.

This pedagogy was developed at Hostos Community College back in 2012 by Rees Shad and Catherine Lewis with the help of the National Science Foundation. More on that here.
