Dozens of middle schoolers at Hostos Lincoln Academy honored their home countries Wednesday during the school’s third annual Cultural Festival.
The day’s events celebrated the students’ diversity through food, games and music.
Organizers say the event promotes pride and offers students an opportunity to bring a piece of home to school.
Students at the school come from 50 countries, including Nigeria, Mexico, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic.
